Land of Merriment

We are the Land of Merriment! Nestled in the redwood forest of Humboldt County California, we are a troupe of about ten artists and artisans dedicated to bringing fanciful children’s costumes to the marketplace.

For the past thirty years we have exhibited at many renaissance fairs across the country. Now we are proud to bring you our finest wares.

As part of the resurgent “Made In the USA” movement, all of our products are made by us. We are also a green business because we use fabrics gleaned from fashion industry overruns and vintage trims.

What happens when you have artists and an ever-changing kaleidoscope of fabrics? You get the best part of land of merriment! Every costume is unique! Each style we make, while adhering to a basic color scheme, comes in endless variations. Everytime we find a new fabric
or trim it only adds to the possibilities.
